This is Bridget Jones for Sit Up Britain, reporting live from London! Big pants ON—let’s take a tour of all the iconic Bridget Jones’s Diary filming locations in London.
With more than two decades between the first film (2001) and the highly anticipated Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy(2025), some locations have changed over time, but they remain must-visit spots for fans.
I’ve been obsessed with Bridget ever since reading the books in my teens. The fact that she worked in PR (just like I did!) made me love her even more. And, of course, the legendary scene about strolling into work in a see-through top and faffing around with press releases always resonated.

Bridget’s Flat – Bedale Street, Borough

Bridget’s iconic flat appears in three of the films and is located above The Globe Pub in Borough Market. The area is bustling, but you can still grab a quick snap outside the famous door.

Across the street is Bedales Wine Bar, a cozy spot that opens onto the market. In Bridget Jones’s Diary, this was transformed into a Greek restaurant where Mark and Daniel famously brawled on Bridget’s birthday.

Bridget frequently walks through Borough Market, whether heading to Daniel Cleaver’s flat or buying ingredients for her disastrous birthday dinner (hello, blue soup).

Just a few minutes away, you’ll find Daniel Cleaver’s apartment on Clink Street—fittingly located near the historic Clink Prison. The perfect setting for our favorite scoundrel!

Bridget’s Love Montage – Heart Artwork

In the fourth film, Mad About the Boy, Bridget is shown head-over-heels in love against the backdrop of a striking heart artwork with pink hearts on a blue background. This mural was created in memory of the London Bridge attack victims.

The restaurant where Bridget and Daniel dined on the enormous knickers night has changed ownership. It was once Cantina del Ponte but is now Sticky Mango. Nearby, Le Pont de la Tour offers a romantic riverside dining experience.

Bridget is often spotted walking across Tower Bridge. Since it’s only a 15-minute walk from her flat, it makes sense!
🎥 Famous scenes:
- In The Edge of Reason, after the disastrous Law Council dinner, Mark and Bridget walk home with Tower Bridge beautifully lit in the background.
- In Mad About the Boy, Bridget is seen walking across Tower Bridge on her way to work.

The Tate Modern Restaurant is rumored to be the setting for Bridget’s dinner-and-drinks date with friends. Head to the third-floor bar for similar vibes and breathtaking Thames views.

At the end of the first film, Bridget dramatically runs after Mark in leopard-print pants and a cardigan in the snow. This was filmed at No. 11 Royal Exchange Buildings, near Threadneedle Street.

Instead of covering the landmark legal case, Bridget is at BK News, buying cigarettes. Of course, she runs into Mark Darcy, who saves the day (again)!

In Bridget Jones’s Baby, Daniel Cleaver’s funeral is held at St Clement Dane’s Church, just next to the Royal Courts of Justice.

📍 Nearest Tube: Richmond Station (it is a 30 minute walk from there)
Remember when Roxster dives into the swimming pool to save a drowning dog? Yep, in a scene straight out of Pride and Prejudice, Leo Woodall bursts through the trees as a big garden party to play the hero.
This scene was shot at Petersham House which adjoins to Petersham Nurseries. It is only open to the public on Open Days which seem to happen once a year. It cost me £7.50 to visit on Sunday 13 April 2025.

Greenwich Park – Bridget & Her Dad’s Heartfelt Chat
📍 Nearest Tube: Cutty Sark
Bridget meets her dad here to discuss her pregnancy in Bridget Jones’s Baby. The views of the London skyline from this park are breathtaking.
