Christmas in London IS ICONIC. From glittering shopping streets to historic department stores transformed into winter wonderlands, the city feels like it’s stepped straight out of a Christmas film. If you’re visiting in November or December, welcome to the festive season in London!

This year, I’m exploring London’s most beautiful and Instagrammable festive locations. From classics like Covent Garden and Bond Street to hidden gems in Marylebone, Belgravia, and Notting Hill. Whether you’re planning a Christmas trip to London or simply want some inspiration for your festive bucket list, this guide brings together the best places to see the lights, decorations, and seasonal displays across the city.

Claridge’s Burberry Christmas Tree 2025

Over the years there have been incredible Christmas designer collaborations for the Claridge’s festive tree, and this year is no exception. This tree is absolutely beautifully lit, making photos an absolute dream! There’s giant golden chess pieces on the black and white floor, Burberry purple check cushions and stunning yellow walls. The purple and yellow ribbons on the tree photograph insanely well!

Peggy Porschen Christmas 2025

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this Peggy Porschen pink display this Christmas. Santa sits above the door and there’s candy coloured red and pink presents amongst winter foliage.

🦄 Fortnum & Mason Christmas 2025

Fortnum & Mason have had a bit of a refurb which I am guessing is to help with their super popular Christmas period. They’ve added a double set of stairs into their central atrium which may make it too narrow to do their famous Christmas pudding decorations dancing in the middle – but watch this space of course! They’ve also re-jigged the downstairs so there’s a huge area for payments which should definitely help when it gets busy.

What is the same? The outside of course! The date on the building has been updated to 2025 and the advent calendar style has been replicated. It turns to red at dusk so this is my favourite time to shoot. The windows feature magical creatures in snowy scenes in their signature green colours.

Inside on the first floor, it is a candy coloured festive dream with giant festive biscuit tins, a pink sleigh and striped pastel telephone box nestled in between modern Christmas trees. A harpist was also there when I visited playing Mariah’s All I Want for Christmas’. You’ll find baubles, decorations and interiors on this floor.

The ground floor has festive tea, coffee, biscuits, sweets and chocolates. If I was only going to one place this Christmas…I think it would be here!

🍰 The Ritz at in London

I was sooo lucky to go to the iconic Ritz for Christmas Afternoon Tea finally! It was absolutely incredible with festive food and drinks, calming classical music and the most beautiful decorations in Palm Court!

Harry Potter Christmas Tree at Kings Cross Train Station

Ooh you know how much I LOVE Harry Potter! King’s Cross is so integral to the Harry Potter story and this year they’ve got the classic Christmas Tree out of storage and upgraded it into a mini Diagon Alley. It is so clever – basically it is in the middle of the station and there’s a different wizard related shop front on each side! My favourite is Ollivanders Wand Shop and the pink Gladrags Wizardwear. It is free to visit so pop by!

💫 Liberty London Christmas 2025

Liberty always feels magical at Christmas and 2025 is no exception. Even before the full decorations go up, the Tudor-style store becomes a festive dream, with its Christmas shop tucked beneath the wooden beams and filled with luxury ornaments, baubles, and London-themed gifts.

If you visit early in November, you’ll find the Christmas department already open, perfect for gift shopping or filming cosy festive reels. I’m still waiting for the Christmas trees and decorations to go up in the atrium! Watch this space!

🧞‍♀️ Selfridges x Disney Christmas 2025

Wow wow wow, Selfridges has teamed up with Disney this year and created the Christmas department store straight from our dreams! This fairytale collaboration takes the form of a pink palace on the corner of the building outside which lights up at dusk.

There’s stunning window displays, a pop up shop which has Disney designed pieces from a variety of designers, Mickey Mouse ear disco balls in their mega atrium – best viewed from the escalators, Disney designed cakes from their Dolly’s cafe and their famous Christmas department in the basement! If that’s not enough, when we visited there was a DJ on the decks, Mickey Mouse ears on the mannequins and there’s even a Disney parade on selected days. WOW!

🎁 Cartier Bond Street Christmas 2025

Cartier is one of the most highly anticipated Christmas windows in the city and it is always a banger! We’ve had huge ribbons, planets and even panthers. This year is a lovely stack of presents and it can be best viewed – and photographed from across the road!

🎁 Bond Street Christmas 2025

Bond Street was once again the crown jewel of Christmas in London this year, glowing with some of the most luxurious and imaginative decorations in the city.

Tiffany shimmered in its signature blue-meets-midnight palette, and Dior transformed its store into an ethereal winter garden. Ralph Lauren stole hearts with its nostalgic Nineties-style festive aesthetic, complete with an interactive polar bear window and its beautiful Giving Tree supporting The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

From pastel pink bows at Boodles to the jewel-like displays inside Burlington Arcade, Bond Street delivered wall-to-wall festive glamour — a true highlight of the season and one of the most cinematic places to film in London.

🦁 Annabel’s Narnia Display Christmas 2025

Annabel’s on Berkeley Square always has an impressive display for Christmas and this year we’ve got a blue night sky inspired by Narnia.

🎀 V V Rouleaux Marylebone Christmas 2025

Red  ribbons at Christmas are always a good idea so this is the most stunning display in Marylebone!

🌹 Neill Strain Mayfair Christmas 2025

Oooh Mayfair is getting super festive and Neill Strain on Davies Street has gone soooo extra! A lovely pine fragrance greets you outside and inside you can see their brand new range of candles. I picked up a lovely pink rose but you can also buy all the decorations inside the shop. Christmas goals!

🌹 Neill Strain Belgravia Christmas 2025

In a matchy matchy affair, the large arch at the Neill Strain in Belgravia is beautifully similar to the Mayfair boutique – gorgeous!

🩰 St Pancras Christmas Tree 2025

Previous Christmas trees at St Pancras included the very GREEN Wicked Christmas Tree in Christmas 2024 and the fabulous Hatchards book tree for Christmas 2023. This year they’ve installed a golden musical box with Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. Powered by Dreams is a beautiful display, sharing illustrated wishes from children. My favourite part was the golden ballerina spinning around on top – magical!

Photo tips – you can stand in front of it but it is VERY tall and VERY busy so it isn’t the easiest shot. You can also head up the escalators and shoot from the first floor for an easier shot. Or go for a close up if it is easier.

🔔 Covent Garden Christmas 2025

It looks likely that lovely Covent Garden will install their famous bells once again for 2025. I like that they keep it similar each year, it is a more sustainable option AND it means you’ll know exactly what you’ll be getting when you arrive.

Picture tips – Covent Garden is one of the busiest places so go early if you can! This fabulous shot with the sleigh is an Instagram fave, and head around the side of the building to get the Covent Garden Market sign in.

🍸 Miracle Christmas Bar in Covent Garden

It might have slightly different decorations for 2025 but you get the picture! It is THE Christmas Bar in Covent Garden. I went full festive outfit and ordered a Christmas cocktail. We sat at the bar because – to be honest it looked the best bet to get fab photos. I know, I know, but that’s how we roll!

🎺 Royal Opera House in Covent Garden Christmas 2025

This incredible Christmas tree in the huge hall in the Royal Opera House has been designed by Paul Smith. You can pop into see it from midday on most days. It is really glorious.

🚂 The Ivy Covent Garden Market

How fabulous is this green train outside the Ivy this Christmas? It feels quite unique this year and really stands out!

🎁 The Lanesborough 2025

This picture perfect hotel is on the corner of Hyde Park, making it the perfect place to visit before Winter Wonderland. We enjoyed hot chocolate served in a silver tea pot.

❄️ Harry’s Bar Mayfair Christmas 2025

I love this fresh striped Christmas display in Mayfair! The icy colours around the bar on Audley Street are gorgeous.

🧡 34 Mayfair Christmas 2025

This bauble filled bouji Christmas bar has gone orange, gold, blue and green this Christmas. This theme carries on inside where decorations fill the walls.

🍬 Scott’s Mayfair 2025

On Mount Street, this beautiful red and white display is ultra chic.

🐻‍❄️ Clos Maggiore Covent Garden 2025

This cute restaurant is a festive favourite and the outside has cute polar bears with a snowy scene. One day I’d like to go for lunch in the super Christmassy decor inside!

Chelsea at Christmas 2025

I really enjoyed my walk around Chelsea this year in the sunshine – starting off at Sloane Square and walking up King’s Road. Here’s my favourites

Christmas – Ralph Lauren Holiday Shop & Ralph’s Coffee at Sloane Square

I’m so pleased to see Sloane Square is finally seeing some festive action as THE festive favourite for 2025, Ralph Lauren, has popped up there for Christmas. Hot on the heels of going viral for the traditional Home Alone Christmas look, Ralph’s Coffee Shop and Holiday Shop takes centre stage with:

• a coffee shop – prepare for queues! Also check out Ralph’s Coffee on Bond Street
• The Holiday Shop of festive gifts – the main store is just across the street too
• Ralph Lauren red pick up truck with Christmas trees in the back
• A lovely decorated Christmas tree with stars for Royal Marsden again – hurrah!

Christmas at Pavilion Road and Sloane Street – Cartier, Moyses Stevens & Jessica McCormack

Chic festive greenery looks so beautiful on Pavilion Road and Sloane Square.

• Cartier has chic Christmas trees outside – and in fact Sloane Street has bouji matching trees down the whole luxe street
• Next door Jessica McCormack has a lovely decorated stairway of fragrant ferns. They had a similar display for Chelsea in Bloom
• Finally Moyses Stevens on Pavilion Road is such a beauty with Christmas trees waiting outside.

Christmas at 11 Cadogan Gardens Chelsea

I’m giving this bouji display a spotlight because I love this hotel! The building is such an architectural dream and looks completely perfect with the classic red baubles, bows and wreaths. Click here to book to stay (Aff Link)

Duke of York Square Chelsea

It is the 12 Days of Christmas once again at Duke of York Square. I really love the idea and it is always a tiny bit of a mixed bag. I loved the archway at Duke of York Square and the ballet shoes were cute too. The white archway into the Saatchi Gallery and the drummers were also stand outs.

King’s Road Christmas 2025

Next go for a stroll up King’s Road, the shops are SO good. Here’s what I found

• King”s Road glittering sign
• Ever After Garden with white roses for Royal Marsden has a new location this year outside Saatchi Gallery
• Peter Jones has an incredible Christmas Shop and white tree floating in the atrium
• Crown Christmas lights – very fitting for King’s Road

• I absolutely loved the big red balloons at Jigsaw – I found this such a chic and effective option

• Finally, The Ivy Chelsea Garden is actual perfection this year. I was SO sceptical about this green train but just look at how shiny and gorgeous it is! I love the colourful soldiers and the snow filled Christmas trees. It is a 10/10 from me!

👼🏻 Regent Street Christmas 2025

The Christmas angels are more than likely to return for 2025 so I’m using this image I took in 2022 and 2023. I still need to nail this shot but look to the curve of the road for a quieter section!
