If you’re in London over Easter this April, make sure you look for the Big Egg Hunt in London. Over 100 eggs have been created by artists and designers and spread all over the capital from Tower Bridge to Covent Garden and Battersea Power Station. It’s a bit like Pokémon Go but for Easter Eggs – gotta catch em all! In this blog I’ll explain how it all works and a route I devised to see the maximum eggs in the shortest space of time! Eggcellent!
In this blog, I’ll share exactly how the Big Egg Hunt works, my tried-and-tested route to spot the maximum number of eggs in the shortest amount of time, and a few bonus Easter displays that are totally Instagram-worthy. Eggcellent, right?
🥚 How Does the Big Egg Hunt in London Work?
To join in the fun, download the free Big Egg Hunt London app. You can use it as a guest or log in to track your progress.
Here’s how it works:
-
Each egg has a unique four-digit code on its plinth – just tap it into the app to collect it.
-
Use the interactive map to find nearby eggs and plan your route.
-
The app also tracks your steps, lets you upload photos, and shows your stats.
Top Tip: Keep an eye on your phone battery – mine drained pretty quickly while using the map and camera!
