Hello fellow Swifties! I have spent the last six months exploring Taylor Swift’s relationship with London and gathered all of the information together to create walking tours of the city. She has been visiting London long before she was using the city in her songs. Of course there are several songs where she name-checks places in the UK including London Boy from the Lover album and So Long London from The Tortured Poets Department. As she returns for the August dates of The Eras Tour (tips on that here), I wanted to share the ideal itinerary if you’re coming to Wembley. Here I’ve combined my Swiftie knowledge with my local London insights to create a fun Taylor Swift Walking Tour:
Taylor Swift Walking Tour Kensington to Notting Hill
I have been living in this area for almost ten years now, so welcome to the neighbourhood! Here’s what I’d suggest to follow for a Walking Tour or Kensington and Notting Hill.
Step 1 Start at V&A Museum Taylor Swift’s Songbook Trail
Come into South Kensington tube station to see the new free Taylor Swift Songbook Trail exhibition which opens 27 July to 8 September 2024. If you stop here to look around it will take 60 to 90 minutes.

Step 2 Princess Diana Memorial Fountain
Walk 15 minutes up Exhibition Road to West Carriage Drive and right into Hyde Park to see the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain. Taylor was spotted here on a rainy day in 2012 and looked around the water display. The Serpentine Lido is a cute cafe at this spot to grab coffee. On the way to Hyde Park you’ll be minutes away from Royal Albert Hall so you can stop off there to look at this beautiful building if you have time.

Step 3 Kensington Palace
Walk 16 minutes West of this statue along Mount Walk into Kensington Palace gardens. Walk past the Kensington Palace or book tickets to visit if you have time. Taylor performed at the Winter Whites Gala in 2013 and met Prince William. Do take a look at Princess Diana’s beautiful Sunken Garden before you move on.

Step 4 Portobello Road
Walk 23 minutes North out of the park, West on Bayswater Road, right after Notting Hill tube to Portobello Road. Taylor spotted a few times on Portobello Road including 2015 where she was photographed leaving Electric House with Ellie Goulding. Enjoy a stroll down, and shop at Alice’s and Antique 101 Portobello where she was pictured in August 2009.

Step 5 Stanley Crescent Tree, Notting Hill
Walk 5 minutes West to Stanley Crescent where Taylor was pictured in 2019. This is the home to the VERY famous blossom tree. It is just as impressive in Spring or Summer.

Step 6 Casa Cruz Restaurant
Walk down 10 minutes via Stanley Crescent, Lansdowne Crescent, Lansdowne Rise and finish off at Clarendon Road. End your day by booking a meal at celeb hot spot Casa Cruz restaurant. This is where Taylor went for dinner in June 2024. You’ll be 11 minutes walk from Holland Park tube station to finish your walk.

How long will the Taylor Swift Walking Tour London Kensington to Notting Hill take?
Without stops you could do this in 2 hours – but take half a day to a full day to enjoy the Taylor Swift experience. Make sure you enjoy each stop and take plenty of photos.
