If you’ve been scrolling through Instagram and TikTok lately, you may have spotted the viral coffee cups from Cream Dream London. These very cute cups feature illustrations of London’s iconic landmarks, with a little rotating wheel that lets you discover different London scenes. And, naturally, I had to investigate!
I visited Cream Dream, a pretty pink café near Covent Garden, to see what all the fuss was about. But I also wanted to find the real-life locations featured on the cup – because what could be more fun than turning your coffee into a little London sightseeing adventure?
From the London Eye and its famous red telephone box to the iconic views of Big Ben and Westminster Bridge, here’s where to find some of the London photo spots featured on the viral cup.
What is the viral Cream Dream London coffee cup?
The first thing that caught my eye was the cup itself. During the summer, Cream Dream had pink versions, but the autumn cups have a gorgeous mustardy colour that feels perfect for the season.
The clever part is the little rotating wheel on the front. You can twist it around to reveal different London landmarks, making the cup a fun keepsake as well as something a little different to drink your coffee from.
It’s a particularly lovely idea if you’re visiting London and want a souvenir that’s a little more playful than the usual tourist merchandise. And if you’re a fan of pretty cafés, seasonal details and all things pink, you’ll probably understand the appeal immediately!

Inside Cream Dream London, near Covent Garden
Cream Dream is a very pretty spot for a little pit stop while exploring Covent Garden. The interiors are full of pink, florals and patterns, creating the feeling of stepping into a quaint living room or a particularly special dining room.
It’s definitely an Instagrammable café, with plenty of cute details for photographs. I visited previously with my friend Fatina, when we tried some of the cakes, which were delicious and beautifully presented. They looked delicate and intricate, too.
I haven’t tried the brunch menu, so I can’t comment on that, but if you’re looking for somewhere pretty to stop for a coffee and cake while exploring this part of London, Cream Dream is worth considering.
For my visit to try the viral cup, they only serve a dirty chai latte. It was very sweet – and, as someone who usually opts for decaf, I was curious to see whether the caffeine would send me into overdrive for the rest of the day!

Where to find the London Eye and red telephone box photo spot
One of the scenes on the cup features the London Eye alongside a classic red British telephone box. Happily, you can find this combination in real life.
The spot is close to the Thames riverboat sightseeing area, with the London Eye providing the unmistakable backdrop. It’s a lovely image if you want to capture two iconic London sights together, although it can be a tricky photograph to get when the area is busy.
My tip is to come early in the morning if you can. This is a popular part of London, so a little extra time and patience will help you get the photograph you’re after.
Once you’re there, turn around and take in the view towards the Houses of Parliament, too. It’s a wonderful area for a London sightseeing walk, with plenty of opportunities to capture the city along the river.

Westminster Bridge: the iconic Big Ben photograph
Westminster Bridge is one of London’s most recognisable photo locations, and it’s easy to see why it features on the cup. The views towards Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament are classic London.
The only downside? It can be incredibly busy, especially during the day. If you’re hoping to take photographs without too many people around, I’d recommend visiting early.
Allow yourself time to enjoy the views rather than rushing to get one perfect shot. The bridge is a brilliant place to see the landmarks, but you don’t have to take every photograph from the busiest viewpoint.

A quieter spot for Big Ben photographs
Here’s a little tip if you want a lovely photograph of Big Ben without quite so much of the Westminster Bridge chaos.
Try the other side of the bridge, where you can still capture the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben but may find a little more breathing room. It can still be busy, of course, but I found it a much more relaxed option for getting that classic London photograph.
It’s worth exploring both sides of the bridge rather than assuming the most obvious viewpoint is the only one worth visiting.

Where to take photographs of Tower Bridge
Another of London’s iconic landmarks to look out for is Tower Bridge. For a lovely view, head to the south bank of the Thames around the London Bridge and City Hall area.
There are stretches of riverside space here where you can stop, take photographs and enjoy the views. I particularly love this part of London because there are lots of different angles to discover, so it’s worth taking your time and exploring.
If you’re planning a photography day, you could combine this with a walk along the river and take in some of the other sights along the way.

Is Cream Dream London worth visiting?
If you love discovering pretty cafés, trying fun new things and finding beautiful places to photograph in London, I’d say Cream Dream is a fun addition to your list.
The viral coffee cup is a playful idea, particularly if you’re visiting London and want a little keepsake. The pink interiors are lovely, and my previous visit for cakes was a positive experience.
I’d think of it as a fun, photogenic stop rather than somewhere to visit solely for a full meal, as I haven’t tried the brunch menu myself.
And if you pick up one of the cups, why not turn it into a little challenge? See how many of the London landmarks you can find in real life.
